Fellowships

For academic years 2009-2011 the Remarque Institute is offering visiting fellow positions through the Scholars at Risk Network; through its partnership with the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris; and, through competition, to one NYU faculty member.  NYU faculty interested in applying should download and complete the application linked on the right.

External (non-NYU) fellowships include an office, housing in a studio apartment (not suitable for children), library access, secretarial assistance and some support for travel and research.  NYU fellows receive an office, when one is available. In the selection of fellows for the academic years 2009-2011, preference may be given to candidates whose interests lie in the fields of intellectual history, the history of ideas and/or modern  political thought.
